316i coupe aerial

Hi,

Ive recently fitted a decent head unit into my 316i coupe. I found that when fitting th aerial there is the main aerial plug (which went into my head unit fine) and another smaller cable which i dont know if for? My radio reception is crap, and i cannot find an aerial on my car. has anyone else had this problem or know whats wrong? - At the moment my normal aerial plug is plugged into my head unit, but the other smaller cable is not doing anything as i havent a suitable socket on the back of my head unit.

is it white plugged? if it is i think its for the CD changer i had this issue too i think i need a new aerial. though i admit i mostly play CD's now.
