convertible problem after jump start

I have a 96 328i convertible. i jumped someone off and then right after that, my top would not work. the switch did nothing. I don't think there is any power getting to the switch but all the fuses are good, even checked the one in the trunk. the jump start is all i can think of that would have affected it. I have tried pulling the lever and reseting the motors but i can get any power to the motors. Can anyone help me out?

If all else fails I would allow the dealer to use the MoDic to trouble shoot the system. It is fully diagnostic. I sure hope it didn't take the convertible module out.
Does the switch light up at all?
I think I would verify the fuses again. I have not hear this happening to anyone else.
