Split Rear Window

Hey all, I have a split in my rear window, please can someone tell me if I can get the rear window on my 1996 E36 318i Convertible replaced, or will I need a hood replacement??

Assuming you are talking about the plastic window you can order a new one from a supplier assuming your original window had a zipper on the inside holding it in. Any good upholstry shop can also replace the window by taking the old one out and cutting the zipper out and sewing in a new one. It is really not that big a deal, most shops do that all the time. So you have two ways to go...

so i have a 1996 328i convert i have a sewn in rear window..does this mean i have a replacement top or did some 96's get zippers and some didn't..
