Hello,
My guess is that this is either the p/s pump or rack. This has been happening for about a month now. My car is a 94' 325i with 150K.
It's hard to hear when I'm driving, but at idle a i hear a "click" about every second coming from under the steering wheel. It sounds like a rotating type of part which makes me think it's the p/s pump that is broken. However my steering and control is good. No problems.
ideas anyone?
