My friend has a 95 535i. He was driving it today. He went to park it and all of a sudden it locked him in and would not restart. He called AAA and he was able to snake the key to the AAA guy. The guy unlocked the car from the outside, the car started and everything seems fine. Anyone heard of this happening? It sounds to me like it is something in the security system. Somehow he activated the security system causing the car to stall and lock him inside.
Does this make sense? Any other ideas what would cause this? How do we fix it?
