This 5 spd. transmission lost 2nd gear, I didn't get the cases apart, we found another and replaced it. The cases are good[to my knowledge] but I have no idea what is still good[or bad] inside. The circlip on the locating arm for the lever was gone and the pin had come almost out. I think the last shift into 2nd didn't go right, because the arm moved, and that is the end of the story maybe. I have photos for email.:dunno:
