I just came across this picture browsing some other sites. Alpina E34 B10 bi-turbo. This car is absolutely gorgeous...

I know its part of being an Alpina, but they look SO much better without those pinstripes!

The E30 still looks good today... a true classic.

Saw a silver 7 series (E38) with an Alpina badge and bodykit (car moving too fast to make out the wheels) on Valley Blvd yesterday near where I live.

They're like the ANTI Hamann to me...Everything they do is classy and understated. Them and AC Schnitzer.

I agree. I've owned my E46 for a year and a half but my mental image of a 'BMW 3 series' is still a E30.

Some 20's and get rid of the off-road treaded tires! :yikes:

Oh, the car is from the UK ... I see.

E34 B10-Biturbo...fastest sedan in the world at one time.

If I am not wrong, an ALPINA nut in Florida imported one of these from Germany last year. Ordered a bunch of parts from KSK and rebuilt the engine. He dynoed at Active Autowerkes too.

check out this post I made way back: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2898
