I just got my PC and when I turn it on I hear constant knocking sound during operation. Is it a defect or a regular operation ?

I guess it depends upon the sound, is it a sharp metallic knock.
Mine makes a loud buzz...you may want to take yours back to be on the safe side

Mine didn't "knock." Sounds like a defective unit.

Are you referring to the Griots Porter Cable buffer? Have you looked at the plam buffer which uses air? I'm trying to decide which one I want and any convincing is appreciated.

with specific weights to insure they are balanced correctly with the correct attachments. I'd research a solution here:

Mine doesn't knock - good luck with your solution.
