How's this for a comparo: (Quoted from Edmunds car data)

1997 850Ci
Engine Power: 322hp/361 lb-ft
Weight: 4288 lbs
0-60 mph: 6.6 secs

2001 M Roadster
Engine Power: 312hp/251 lb-ft
Weight: 3131 lbs
0-60mph : ~5 secs

Dunno exactly how accurate this data is, but it should give you some sort of idea on what your chances are..... and from the looks of it... I'd say your chances are pretty good. ;)

True, but over 110, he'll really start to pull. Due to much more torque and probably a drag CO.

Probably but it would depend on just how far they plan on racing.... for a quarter mile, I think he's got the 850 beat...

I think 850's are beautiful cars! I've thought about picking up one and have been lurking on their toadfly forum taking notes. Only drawback is vehicle up-keep history, parts and knowledeable service people where I live (plus no more room in the garage).
