WOW! Great job on that engine! What products did you use? The late model Bimmers I detail all have tons of plastic panels that cover the metal parts of the engine, so the work is definitely easier.
That represents a great effort on your car.

a plastic brush, degreser, and armorall...:)
1: first spray water on the engine.
2: spray degreser on the engine and wait 5 min
3: spray more degreser on the engine and scrub with the brush
4: rise engine, then turn on engine to warm after 15 min turn of engine and let the rest dry by it self.
5: spray armorall on plastice and hoses and let it sit for 30 min
DONE
can not get easier than that.

Whats the best stuff to make the black plastic parts, engine cover shine? I guess its the heat from the engine..but i can keep it shiny very long using black magic.

i find Armorall to last longer.. just dont use it on ur interior

Stoners Trim Shine is one that will do it..check your local auto suppliers
