I've narrowed it down, it seems like the notorious rattle is coming from somewhere under or close to the manifold. what are the mechanisms that are activated as soon as the car has completely warmed up? there are so many signs here on what it could be, but someone like me that doesnt have the experience wouldnt know. anyways here is a list of factors that are there when this rattle appears.
1. engine must be competely warmed up(most important)
2. can only be heard at idle or very low speeds(like driving around in a parking lot)
3. very strong rattle in "D" or "R", pratically disappears when i throw it into "P"
4. no change in performance what so ever
5. my mechanic took the engine cover off and could find nothing broken (he said that the engine compartment was running perfectly), this therefore rules out anything internally
6. mechanic also changed all of my pulleys, tensioner and belts (ruling them out as well)
7. noticed that the rattle follows that same rythm as the sound coming from the engine

thats pretty much it, i am REALLY desperate to find out what is causing this is making my bmw sound like a junk-yard car (which it definetly is not)
