Is that for real? :yikes:

If so, that is by far the ugliest color I have ever seen.

I have witnessed vomet that was more appealing in color.

Who at BMW chooses the colors that go on these cars anymore? I guess 'ugly' really is in style. :tsk:

That picture wasn't supposed to be leaked out. The Army has ordered a number of them in preparation to chase Saddam.

As I said in another thread, it's Tank Camoflauge green

It looks like the Metallic Pea from the Wagon Queen Family Truckster in "Vacation".

Looks like they mixed the remains of the two colors that used to be the ugliest BMW offerings: Sea Green and Light Yellow.

If that's a real color, than its just plain fugly. Sports cars should not come in certain colors, this being one of them.

Actually, that looks BETTER than the original Z4 in ANY color as it hides the hideous mark of Zorro lines on the sides.

My local sales manager was terrified to see that color in person.... so he never ordered one to sit on the lot. :D

I guess you guys have never seen the "pistachio green" that was a standard color on the Z3 as well. I've only EVER seen it once on the road and had to do a double take.

But it WAS a standard color back a few years ago when I ordered my Z3.

I don't know the name of the green...It was mint green or something like that.

Its the color of pistachio icecream...A light, bright green. Not unlike the green of my house. :lmao:

BTW there was a post here not too long ago with a Z3 in that color. Some outing in the East (in the snow). I thought the color was custom. Ickpoo IMHO. Totally ickpoo.

That was Turquoise; Pistachio is more yellowy. Both were standard Z colors.

I think the Urban works. I'm more likely to be grossed out by light colors than dark ones. Maldives doesn't work for me, and I think I'll dislike white and red. I'll have to see Urban in person before I decide, of course.

Pistachio (mz3.net pic); it rocks:

Turquoise (cheap winter rims w/ snow tires):

Phoenix yellow (bdougr's pic):

There's a guy in the local CCA who has an M Roadster in that color. He also does the One Lap of America, I believe. It's definitely a mint julip color, and at first I wasn't sure about it, but I kinda like it after seeing it a bunch of times. The color on that car seems to work with the wheels.:dunno: Also, the color here is a little off from the true color, but it's pretty close.

Larry - that's Evergreen. A pre-'01 M color.

Thanks R'Gal. I thought that may be the color that SONET was talking about, but I kind of like it, no matter the name. Funny that it's called evergreen, when it really is a mint julip color. You'd think that evergreen would be darker...:dunno:

Yes, if SONET was talking about my post, that was Turquoise - a slightly bluer, minty color. In person, they all do look good to me, but the metallics are richer - I really like Pistachio. It has a glow...

I saw a few at the Z3 Homecoming in 1999, all 4 bangers.
