I just have to say that is one FUN car! I was over at the BMW dealership to put in an order for my ED 330i (woohoo!) when my wife goes over the the Mini side of the dealership and automatically fell in love with the car. Of course we had to take one for a test drive. I was surprised at how peppy the vehicle was w/ 3 people on board and the handling ... well you already know.

I better keep my wife away from the Mini dealership or our Acura Integra may go bye-bye. :D

That's all. Kind of a slow board so I thought I'd post. :bigpimp:

Cooper or Cooper S? I found the Cooper sort of lifeless, but the Cooper S is a blast.

It was the Cooper 5-speed. Granted it didn't involve any hills but it was peppy. It's no 330 but it was fun nonetheless! Maybe next time I'm at the dealership we'll check out the MCS.

If you like the Cooper that much, I would advise against driving the Cooper S unless you are prepared to buy it, because after the drive you WILL want to.

Ha Ha! I guess I WON'T be taking a test drive of the MCS then because if my wife starts talking about the Mini as much as I did about the BMW then it WILL definitely mean another car payment!

She has been wanting to go back to Europe since we went 1.5 years ago (got there on Sept 9th, 2001!). When I told her about BMW's European Delivery program it was an easy sell. :D
