If the bolt pattern is 5X120 and the offset i believe is +46 they'll fit. Just curious why you'd wanna put 15"s on an m3?

They are just for a trip through the mountains back to the island where i'll be putting the 17'\s back on... So do you think they will work for sure?

Standard size of 95 E36 is 205/60/15 in Australia. BTW, Commodore rims fit with the same pattern. You should be pretty right with offset if you are only going to use for a short while.

check to see if those 15 inch rims will fit over your brakes.

Yeah, just check for brake clearance, but the bolt pattern will work, and you will have more than enough room for the tires.
