So hears the story I have a 97 328i 4dr and my friend has a convertible version of 328i of the exact same year. He just purchased a Shark Injector chip for his car one of those flash player style chips that your supose to be able to use as many times as you want. They basicly re program your computer for better performance. We were wondering if i could use the exact same programer for my car because techicaly your suspose to be able to use the programer on your car as many times as you want just in case if you want to reset to stock programing or your dealer accidently resets your programing, but he heard that chip will only allow it to program to one car, is this ture, if so if we try it will it just not work or will it mess up my car or is it not ture at all i'm kinda thinking it isn't ture and this company is just trying to make more money let me know cause it would great to finally get a freebie on my car if you know what I mean.

It's true, It is programmed to 1 car only, you would have to buy a new shark injector.

When you connect it the first time, it will log the engine or ECU number and then will only connect to that one from then on

Otherwise you could buy one and upgrade loads of cars!

sorry didn't know we needed to be so grammticaly correct. By the way I have a K & N short ram and its awsome hugh gains much more response and it sounds sick nasty when I shift from 1st to 2nd

Also does any one know that answer to this one if my filter is dirty should i just by a new one or can I clean it a couple times and then replace it whats the best way to do that what should I clean it with
