I'll be there in Pleasanton with my "Other - BMW (OtherBMW)" :eeps: I debadged it, so I guess 'other' is accurate. Boy, talk about driving a niche model...

Error? In the page http://www.bimmerfest.com/event.php?action=currentstats&EyId=11

"Bimmerfest 2006 Event Registration Statistics" should be 2007

"Number Attending" should be "Number of Cars"?

Good way to celebrating my birthday, May 6th.:D

I booked my hotel stay at the Ramada today. Rooms are filling up fast guys.. And they are charging a small fortune because of the demand.

How mcuh will the raffle tickets be if you want to buy more?

"This year, there will be a $20.00 entrance fee for each car that attends Bimmerfest 2007. The $20.00 fee will be collected the day of the event when you arrive. Each car will receive one entry into the opportunity drawing for prizes donated by vendors."

I assume the rest goes to the charity listed?

So this is my first Bimmerfest. Are you suppose to drive your car to the Showgrounds? Are you allowed to park it there and are you suppose to put it on show for everyone?

you can only valet or push your car from the Ramada to the fair grounds. :p Just drive down. BMW's go one way, everyone else goes the other and people will just walk around and look or you can get preferred parking if you have a rare or special car. At least that's how it went last year if IIRCC. You'll find plenty of info about the 'Fest on this (http://www.bimmerfest.com)site. :D

Check the photo on the event page (http://www.bimmerfest.com/events/2007SB/2007sb.php) for parking tips. If you're staying at the Ramada, we typically drive over as a group.

Nothing specifically. I would guess that gathering car model information serves a couple of purposes. One, it gives current and prospective vendors demographic information about the market they'll reach from this show. Second, it gives us enthusiasts a feel for how much company we'll have (lots if you come in an E46, not so many for us E86M folks).

ya know, it kind of makes sense for it to be centrally located in a city like..... lets say, Dallas?!

But the atmosphere of California is amazing and I believe there is probably a larger portion of participants out of California than any where else.

But if the 'fest were to ever move to lets say Dallas, I am sure that the Fair Grounds would love to host the fest!

Registration opened on 2/21 (the date of the first post in this thread), so if you registered for the event on 3/18 then I imagine you are as registered as you can be.

Texas, huh? For what you're paying in mortgage on that house, you could probably afford you very own cardboard box in a bad part of town here in the Bay Area. What do you need all that space for, anyway? ::bigpimp:
