Problem with power seats

I need help with my passenger side power seat. The seat moves up and down but I can't make it go forward or back. The motor sounds like it is trying to move the seat but it does'nt move. I checked the tracks and cleaned them but that wasn't the problem. I need help.

Motors are attached to the gearboxes on the tracks by a drive cable. over time the inner cable shrinks or the outer cable streches. Remove the cable from the motor, remove the metal cap, cut enough of the sheath so the inner cable projects properly. Put the cap back on and replace everything. Should work just fine after this.
