I just got my 545i and it is so sweet, now it is time to upgrade it some. First there is no phone cradle, but the car is wired for the phone. Do I need the cradle to install the bluetooth adapter? I have several phones that are bluetooth (SLVR, RAZR..). About Sirius, the car is prewired for sat, is it possible to install something aftermarket and have I-Drive operate it?

Any help is appreciated.

If you mean the BTUM adapter, you need the CPT-9000 phone.

dont know about 2004. I have a 2005 and it is already bluetooth, no need for a phone cradle or any other equipment installed on mine.

BMW has a sirius sat radio tuner they will sell you and install for you. Total job is about $900 :bawling: but I have really enjoyed my sat radio. I dont know if anyone has been able to buy something other than the BMW sat radio module and install it in the car - other than the ususal aftermarke sat radio receivers that people clip to vents, etc. :dunno:
