View Full Version : Wow, my car can burn rubber from a rolling start!

I have discovered that with the weather so FREAKIN cold (-13 right now), tires really don't have much grip. With the engine spinning just above idle in first on a dry road, if I shove the pedal to the floor the passenger side tire willl light up from 3k RPM and shoot straight to the limiter. My car suddenly feels so powerful. :D

Having 195-section width tires doesn't hurt, either. ;)

I did that today to... well didn't actually burn rubber more like melted snow.

Heh, I create rooster tails of snow and slush when I drive in those conditions. :D

The roads are bone-dry around here right now.
