I've put together a list of nav software and CD versions from different sources.

Can all you nav geniuses have a look at the list and confirm the info?

Is it true that version 8.0 is displayed as 1-1/72 on a MK1 navigator?

Thanx!

Over on the Yahoo BMWNAV group, they've posted about the availability of the V21 software CD for download via eDonkey/Overnet (peer-to-peer file sharing services).

I downloaded it and it upgraded my MK IV to 4-1/12 and it no longer displays the "T20.10" above the "== BMW ==" banner on startup. I haven't noticed any other differences.

Someone with a MK III says it upgraded him to 3-1/61 (from 3-1/60).

This probably means that dealers also have the update CD if you're concerned about doing it yourself and breaking the NAV computer.

A poster from BMW said that the next update CD isn't due until the August/September timeframe.
