I just checked vs. previous 2002 invoice prices.
My deal is vs. Invoice, so this means a price increase for me, as my car arrives at Port 12/27/01, probably not gonna make it to dealer b4 01/01/02.

but did you not already make a deal? and you put down a deposit? I don't see how they can force you to pay more

I know when I ordered mine it was ONLY after I had made the deal and it was final and on paper! No matter what changed in pricing, it was still going to be what we made a deal on, so no questions were ever ask. good luck!

I think this sort of situation is a good learning opportunity for everyone. Use the invoice+ or MSRP- method to negotiate your price, but make sure you get the final contract written up with a hard $$ amount, instead of "Invoice + 1500" or whatever you negotiated. If the total sales price is written in like "33,465", then they can't hose you if prices change while your car is being built.

I thought that Jon Shafer posted something a while back that said that the price increase was approximately 1% and only applied to the base price of the car.
Did I misinterpret something??

As you can see from the actual wholesale pricing sheets, I was misinformed...

I was planning on helping my Mom negotiate a deal on a new Z3 next week. This complicates things....
