Slould I wait and buy a 528xi or buy a 530xi now - I'm guessing that the price is about the same and know that hp of the 530xi is 255 vs 230.

Many thanks

I'd think the price might even be a little less for a MY 2008 528xi compared to a 2007 530xi, but perhaps not. There are some exterior/interior changes and some electronic changes which might make the 2008 more attractive to you. The N52 engine is a proven commodity, and you'd get that in either car. I'd wait and get the 2008 myself.:)

2008 5 series: is facelifted, has more updates,
528(i / xi) has 230hp Inline 6 (I ordered mine 528 xi)
535(i /xi) has 300hp turbo, with some extra STD features, more pricey(3-5K ?)

I messed up. 528xi will have the N53 engine (different injection system) vs. the N52 in the 530xi.:eeps:

If you are leasing, I would get the 2007 530xi, because of the huge incentives for the 2007's. If you are buying, I would get the 2008.

With xi every bit of power helps. I ordered 2007 530xi. I don't think 2008 is very different in appearance anyway.

Will they offer the E61 in RWD? I'm disappointed they only are selling 530xiT's.
