Am just on verge of getting a pretty low mileage 2003 M5, 25K miles \with just 3 months left on original warranty. From service history, its had an Inspection I done just a couple of months ago.
My question is what are the service intervals, i.e., at what miles (or periods) should different levels of service or maintenance be done. I've checked the owners manual and it unfortunately does not contain this information.
When is the next major inspection or service due if a detailed matrix type schedule for the M5 is not available. I want to know how many miles I should rack up quickly so that I get in this next major inspection done under warranty.
Thanx

Why wait? Do it anyway. It'll only help and give you peace of mind knowing for yourself what shape the car is in. If from a dealer, see if they will swing for a pre-purchase inspection. Or if they'll certify it. Heck, tell'em it'll really sway your decision.

Good luck on your purchase.

find a good independent mechanic in your area. Dealers charge rediculous rates for labor. You'll want an inexpensive place to go for miscellaneous stuff out of warranty.
