: Recommend a good Service Center in LA/ SFV

A friend o mine had his 2006 325 bought back by BMW. His car was serviced at Center BMW where it became a regular after 7 visits.

He now drives a 2007 530I and last week the "S.O.S." light turned on an his memory from the bluetooth connection erased, along with other things. His car was again serviced at Center BMW. It wasn't even 24 hrs after getting his car back that now other lights started turning on. Today theh S.O.S light turned on again, he will take his car to the service department at Center once more.

I am starting to think that his service department has no clue with how to deal with problems and once they fix it another developed...or my friend is really unlucky when it comes to BMW's.

Any good recommendations?

Center BMW's service department sucks. I hate the way they do business.

I have 2 BMW's. A leased 2007 530 and a purchased 2004 325. Whenever I take my 325 in there for any kind of warranty covered repair they treat me like the forgotten stepchild. When I take in the 530 they start treating me all nice. I stopped going there for services, allthough it's only 2 miles from my office.

IMO Bob Smith is a lot better.

I take all mine to South Bay BMW in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd.

Great people, they take great care of me.

Good Luck

I meant to say Century West BMW.

Is it true that if he takes his car for service at other dealer he will not be given a loaner while his car is repaired?
