Thanks Jon, you're the man! 535i msrp comes in $100 less than i guessed and looks like they are charging msrp of $625 for the sport automatic transmission ( sop 06/07 ).

$625 is a bit of a rip for the sport automatic - its only GBP70 (about $140) if I remember correctly in the UK. Alternatively, you can argue that it is subsidising the free automatic option.

But, folks (like myself) will be paying for it!

Anybody know when the ED inventory prices might be available? I've got a 550i on for ED delivery in May.

They should be on Center Net now - contact your dealer.

You should contact your dealer who has access to CenterNet. I don't believe Jon has access to CenterNet, since he is no longer working at a dealership.

Mine is confirmed, 5/23 delivery. Any news from anyone on pricing? Colors have changed, and Olivine is dropped. Looking forward to Munich!

Thanks for the info. New member planning on Munich in July. Used this site extensively to plan. I was struggling between the 525i and the 530i with auto and premium package along with a few incidentals. If I understand the pricing the new models will be available and the 528i seems to solve my problem and appears to be about the same price with the auto coming down and the premium package going up. I refuse to redo my endless spreadsheets. Thanks again.

Does anyone know what a reasonable money factor and residual number/% will be for a new 2008 528i? What is the official availability date, i.e., when you can build one on the BMW website?

Thanks.

Am I reading the 535i order guide correctly? The first item in the Notes section suggests that the 535i can't be ordered with a manual transmission.

Correct - not until Sept production.
