Ski bag - long enough ?

Looking for a nimble small SUV, and fell in love with the X3 after a test drive.

Do alot of skiing, and like the ski bag option, but am not sure that my skiis (about 5'5")
will fit within the length from the end of the ski bag, to the rear tailgate.

Anyone know ?

I haven't specifcally used it, but I've opened/unfolded the thing and it's pretty long. I had trouble folding it back into the armrest compartment afterwards.

On my last ski trip I had my 205 cm slalom skis in a skibag and 2 pairs of cross country skis in the skip bag - they all *just* fit.
