Order it. :)
It's not on the BMW config page and doesn't show up in the brochures but it is a Priority 1 option and can be ordered by anyone. I got it and love it.

Greetings all. Just registered for these forums and this will be my first post. Haven't owned a BMW before but looking to order a 2008 535xi. Apologies in advance if I ask some dumb questions. Here goes:

Thanks for posting the US brochure Jon (the dealer up here in Calgary didn't have any when I popped in a few weeks ago). Is the 535 shown on the first few pages of the brochure Monaco Blue? It looks like it. My current car is black and I know I want something different this time, but still want a classy looking colour and I think MoB is the one. It can look blackish in poorer lighting but on a sunny day, pretty sweet...

Anyone have a sense of what the Deep Sea Blue will look like? I have searched all over the web and can't see it anywhere (other than on the US site's configurator and it's hard to get a good feel for the colour there). I think DSB is replacing Mystic Blue, so I suspect it is similar. Mystic Blue is nice but may be a bit too light for my liking.

Also, I am fairly sure I will go with Cream Beige or Natural Brown for the interior. In terms of trim, I was leaning towards the Light Poplar (especially if I go with Cream Beige). However, the Bamboo Wood shown on page 6 looks intriguing. Can anyone comment on the colour of the lighter grains/lines that I see in the Bamboo Wood? What colour are these lighter grains (tannish/brownish/greyish/whitish ???). From the photo on page 6, these lighter grains/lines help the interior make a nice, stylish transition from the black dash colours to the beige interior shown.

Also, is the interior shown the Beige or Cream Beige? Looks nice to me.

Speaking of typos.. check out the leatherette colors on p 13. That "Beige" is awfully dark and the "Black"... :confused:
