I have turned in 4 leased cars that I debadged.
You will not have any trouble or be charged anything, at least in my experience.

If I comprehended a post correctly, you can even order a BMW sans badges:thumbup:

On the more expensive cars, like Infinity M45 and the Porsche Cayanne (sp??), the third party inspectors came out with cameras and took multiple pictures. About 45 min of time. Pictures of spare and tread depth, 4 tires and tread depth, interior, exterior. Looked at windshield to see if it was original manufac. Charged us for missing cd. Charged us (my company) for slight burnishing on front bumper and rear window frame. My boss made final arrangements to pay, and I am not sure how much he paid. Porsche wanted over $1000. I told him he should hire someone with polishing compound. Some of the marks I could not see. I am one of those individuals who can see a mismatched color 2 blocks away. I am glad it was not my money.

Just be careful if you turn in a much more expensive car. They expect everything to be perfect.
