cabriolet windows not going down??

Hi all,

i have a semi power top on my 96 car, should my power windows automaticaly go down when i realese the handle? or should the drop a little when i hit the roof button?

i have to lower the windows with the window button, release the handle and press the powerroof button? is this correct/

I too have a semi power hood. When I release the catch the windows do not go down. They go down when I press the button to start the fold down sequence.

What happens then if you do not put the windows down?

If you are having to do what you are doing and it works then don't worry about it. To take this into a main dealer to get rectified it is going to cost you a lot of money!!

Let me have your address by contacting me through the private messaging system. I have a wonderful article I downloaded from the internet about how to reset the clutches if you ever have to use the emergency handle under the back seat in case of roof failure. Again, if you take it to the dealer they charge anything from 50 quid. They told me it could not be done - but it can apparently!
