Bilstein Coilover Question

Anyone know why I couldn't use standard Bilstein replacement or sport shocks with the coilover kit I have (the rear shocks were missing) The rear shocks are mounted in the original position, as are the springs with the addition of an adjuster. The PSS replacements are about twice as much $$$ :yikes:

Hmmm...I'm not really sure how to respond to this. I'm in the process of buying the stage two kit from pelican parts which includes all bilstein stuff. I'm not sure why you can't use it but I'm also curious if there's something I should know about this before buying it myself!
