I don't like how the engine is all scraped up in front.. Almost makes me think it was in an accident or something.. And why isn't there a single picture of the right side??

looks like a good car but i would ask the guy for pics of the right side....as far as the engine paint peeling that is normal. my car has never been hit and it is peeling....not sure why that makes you think it was in a accident (IANIAC).

Hmm just cause mines still perrfect and most all the e36s ive seen are.. was thinking it would take something getting scraped against it to make it start peeling like htat.

i've seen quite a few different e36's with the paint peeling on that part, including mine. As far as i know it's quite common.

In the UK you can pay to have something called an HP check [Hirer Purchase]. This tells you the history of the car, how many owners, if there is any outstanding finance etc and whether it has been in an accident.
Might be worth it if you are serious about buing the car as a couple of dollars spent now could save you thousands in the future
It is often very hard to follow your head - not your heart!!!:)
