Anyone going? If so, what are you planning on doing yourself?

Am on the fence about going to my first DIY session :dunno:

Can't really think of anything I would do there. I'd like to do brakes, but you can do those in your garage and not have to buy super $$$ parts from the dealer. An SSK install might be a good thing to do with a hoist, or sways or an exhaust, but I'm not planning on doing any of those things.

I was gonna go to swap out my brake pads until I learned those parts were covered in the 3 yr warranty. Otherwise, I can't think of anything to do, other than hang out and watch. Kind of expensive to do that. :(

Pretty much my thoughts. I am getting my new pads (maybe rotors?) next week under my 3/36. I was just looking to meet and greet seeing as I have yet to do that.

I wonder if I just show up and play dumb if they're kick me out. It's been almost 19 months since I joined NCC and I still haven't been to any events. :(

Same here. I do NOT want to drive down from Bmore, only to be given a hard time about rubebrnecking. My SO's out for a few hours Sat. and it'd be a great time to take a drive. Oh wait - Maryland plays at 4...

You all could probably gawk at the NCC go kart event that 7 of us 'Festers are participating in.

Is there an admission price? (not that I'm too cheap to pay)

Would be fun to get out and see some other bimmers. As well as meet some of the other 'Festers.

Post this question in the NCC karting thread I posted last night. This will be my first kart outing but the other guys have been a couple of times and could tell you.
