Seen the threads about phone compatibility not sure this is it (Blackberry 7290) as it generally works just fine, everything is dandy and overall no problems.

However, when I'm on the phone via bluetooth, get to work.. I press the engine off switch (still fine) & then press & take out my key you'd figure that the phone would just take over as it lost it's connection.

Instead, I'm holding my key in my hand, my display still shows the bluetooth phone screen (as if I'm on the call) & I'm still hearing my conversation... but my car is supposed to be off. I need to then manually disconnect from bluetooth, insert my key again & end the call from the menu.. where it "thinks" about it for another few seconds..

Weirdness.. anyone else seen this?:eeps:

Thanks,
- M

proper operation is for the car to remain "on call" (the screen is on and call is coming through speakers) until the call is either terminated or the call is "switched" to the handset using the handsets options. Once you do this, the car will turn off automatically.

does this answer your question?
