Great looking car! Especially like the rims........I've always loved black/black......IMO it's the best looking color combo when clean........however in my past experience and ownership of black cars, it's proven to be the hardest thing to do.........keep them clean. :D

Very nice!

Those wheels rock. Did you get those from the dealer at purchase (redelivery), or after?

I am envious! Can't wait for June. Well maybe July for redelivery, if I am lucky...

Thanks all for the nice comments! Black cars are hard to keep clean, but I really enjoy washing and babying it, so it works out! -I too think the M6 wheels kick some serious booy-tay on the 5. I think BMW tries to fit the "personality" of each car with the wheels they select, so you never really know if its all going to work. I think the sport pkg/aero 5 pulls it off nicely! :bigpimp:

I purchased from the dealer after I got the car back from ED. They were $675 a wheel. I grabbed both winter and summer tires too, so it wasnt cheap...but definately well worth it!

Your car looks GREAT! Ditto the M6 wheels!

Having had two black cars I said never again, but WOW the E60 looks stunning in black!

If by "Phoenix" you mean, brown and dead, then yeah for sure! -By definition doesnt spring mean I should be able to take my winter tires off w/out it snowing every other week!? grrrr

....thanks fellas for the props!! I think it looks better than about anything on the road, but you never know if thats only because I shelled out the jack!? ...Anything anyone would add/change? -I'm kicking around the idea of swappin for M5 mirrors!? Also, I'm going back and forth on aluminum trim?

yeah, a car wash pass is pretty much a "must have" for black sleds! But when clean not much looks better!

Your car looks great man. I have the same color combo with a 530i. Keeping it clean is a pain in the a$$ but it looks great once it is clean.

Enjoy it.
Also, get one of those California duster things. Theyre great for mid-week dustings.

Hot.

You should also get the euro relectors for the rear bumber. Makes a world of difference:)

You don't need the euro reflectors. The M-tech rear bumper doesn't have any.

They fit in the inserts on the back of the stock bumper.

I found out about them from this post.

I think they look great on a dark car. I bought them and and it took me 2 mins to install.
