Hey fellow 550 owners, I'm kinda curious about your lease payments. What are you paying per month on your 550? Some details such as options, mileage, term, etc. would be helpful too. Thanks!

You also want to include when they bought.

For example:
2006 550s leased Sept 2005- Dec 2005 will be considerably more expensive than 2006 550s leased Jan-April 2006. Same sort of thing happened with the 2007s - more money in April 2007 and then lower after that. All depends on the residuals BMW had going at the time as well as the money factor. (for instance, leasing my car here in IL would have been $1,200 per month in Dec 2005 and $1,050 in Jan 2006 - same car. Remember the residuals normally go up throughout the model year.

you may also want to consider what state its purchased in. mine (california) for example:

07 550i Premium/Cold weather/nav/6mt/ggt/sport/premium sound/comfort access

leased 04/06

payments are $810/mo (euro delivery) at 10k a year 24months. $877 after cali tax. Paid normal drive-offs, no cap cost reduction.

Payment is $592/mth. I leased mine with the Dec '06/Jan'07 rates. Az tax is 8.1***37;. ED with 24 mo/10k miles. Options are below. I put down 8 MSDs and didn't cap TTL. I used Schley's numbers for the whole process.

Very important - as noted here in IL you pay sales tax on the FULL amount of the car - so on a $70K car you are looking at an additional $5K that has to be paid (Plus interest) - that will add $220+ to your payment here.

so would $800 a month lease payment is realistic for a 550 with Sports package no Navigation? considering that i'm in NY, no money down and taxes rolled into payment - 36month/12k a year?

on a 2008 - no chance.

and the problem with an 07 is that you won't find one on a lot with just those options.

on an 08, my guess would be at least $975/month but more likely over $1000.

Even at a 0 % Money factor and a .7 residual for at 24 mo 10K miles per yr term I can't get to that #. At least not with those options. The MSRP for a 550 with those options is easily over 70K

Unless he paid taxes up front made a huge down payment and got the car for under 60K.

If that is the case he got a great deal!!!!

When comparing numbers, you must look at all the options, length of lease, and miles allowed.

The 550 loaded is about $75k. Doubt anyone is leasing them for under $900 per month.

Those is the $500 range most likely have a lower model or a stripped 550 at best.
