Sounds like that is for a 2007 ? They're starting up 2008s now.

Also - what are duty / time requirements overseas to qualify for the military sales? I'm active-duty in RI now - planning a Euro Delivery which will save about the same amount I think as what you're talking about....

That is the correct military price for the 2008 535i, which now includes home shipping in the price.
Anyone stationed in Europe, civil service working in Europe, in Europe on TDY, or downrange in Iraq can purchase at this price.
If you are in the military and about to be stationed to Europe you can pre-order your car and have it waiting for you once you arrive.
If anyone has any questions regarding the 535i or any other models please feel free to contact me.
Cheers

I've been waiting to get back to Germany...will be there this fall. I've got the M5 cost sheet for '07. I can only guess '08 prices will only be a bit higher. I compared an M5 priced at a local dealer with what I would pay in Germany and came up more than 14k less.... I dont believe there to be a problem posting this sheet as it is now a year old....here is an example of what the price was...

Wow I should of had a military friend buy one for me. That is an incredible deal considering many people were paying a premium fee on top of the USMSRP. That is a great deal.

Wow 700 to ship home, that is a great price too.

:) Pentagon Car Sales prices are hard to beat . My 2007 530xi arrived about 2 months ago in Mannheim. Pentagon gave me an additional $2,500 off for options as part of the "Take 5" promotion plus another 1***37; for a repeat customer discount. Military will ship the car home for free, so easy choice for me.
I have attached the pricing sheet for a 2007 530xi. My options included steptronic auto, cold weather pack , park control, premium pack, logic 7, HUD, rear heated seats, rear side airbags, fold-down rear seats, and navigation. My total delivered price was just a hair under $50,000. Color was titanium silver with grey leather and anthracite trim. I had the ipod integration kit installed at the Mannheim dealer. It only took 3 hours and they installed the rear red reflectors as a freebie.:)

Wife told me to hold on to the 540 for another two or three years....Hope they have some sort of "take 5" deal on the M5 when the start the F1 series....That's when i'll be buying! Maybe it can be my retirement present.
