Where (besides the Ramada) will you be staying.
Let's create a directory/resource.
Please add your links for accomodations to this thread.
I'll go first.
Here's one:

Here's another:

One that comes to mind specifically as good for Bimmerfest attendees is this one (due to proximity to Earl Warren): Pepper Tree Inn (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g33045-d81261-Reviews-Best_Western_Pepper_Tree_Inn-Santa_Barbara_California.html)

Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel with covered (underground or otherwise) parking. I want to keep that Santa Barbara overnight salt/dew stuff off my sled.

The dew was thick last year (like it rained overnight). I think most of us just got out there and dried our cars off in the morning. Thanks for reminding me to bring extra big blue towels this year
To Jon's post - no recommendations from me. I stayed at the Best Western Beachside Inn when I visited in the Fall of 2005. Traffic noise was high there as it's right on Cabrillo, but on the bright side it has a great location within walking distance of the wharf (and they accept dogs in selected rooms, which is why I stayed there). The motel is getting a little long in the tooth and could use a freshening. The room rates were on the high side and probably reflective of the location.
I believe the entire Motel 6 will be full of festers. :bigpimp:

We will be staying at the Lemon Tree Inn (http://www.treeinns.com/maps_and_directions.htm).

Back in 2004, I stayed at the Sandman Inn with a few B-festers  I imagine they're booked already though

Exactly. I'd like to know if there are any parties/get togethers after Bimmerfest.
I JUST booked a hotel for $250. And it's a 1.5 star one at that!!! Talk about crappy! But hey, at least I got a room. :)

For you No Cal BF attendees who are sweating because you can't find a place to stay in SB, try Lompoc in N Santa Barbara county. Lompoc is only 45 minutes away from SB, it has a Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Days Inn, Quality Inn and a few other motels. Lompoc is on Hwy 1 so its a short hop down to SB and rates are much cheaper than SB.

Who lives in Santa Maria, an hour drive to SB.

Ouch.
I booked 4 nights at a 4 star hotel on Rodeo Drive for $200 per night. :dunno:
And that was in their best room.
Try expedia

There are multiple ones throughout Santa Barbara so to make a distinction it is the Motel 6 on State Street.

I found mine on expedia.com. When you book multiple nights, you get a HUGE discount. One night is considerably more.
Rodeo drive where? In LA?

If anyone was looking for a room at the Ramada and was locked out, one opened up this morning. I had to cancel my trip.
