That's purdy!

I like the mixed bumper setup on the new ones.

OK, so I must just be blind...But where do you get running boards for the X3? I've only seen them available for the X5? Got a URL you can point me to?

Do a search on ebay for "X3 boards". You will see a couple listed. The OEM ones are ridiculously expensive.

I did a Euro Delivery last year for my 650 conv. It was a GREAT experience, and you save money on your vehicle as well.

I am currently negotiating an X3 ED purchase for delivery in July. I would think a June 11th delivery date is certainly possible if you order very soon.

BMW is opening a new ED delivery center (Welt) and it is supposedly going to free up more slots for the delivery process. In the high-tourist summer months, the ED limitation is not so much on building the car in time, but if they can actually fit you in for an appt to take delivery on the date you need. (Exception: Seems like everyone wants a 335 these days, so I hear it is tough to get that model on shorter notice...but an X3 is in less demand.)

Go for it...You will create some great memories with your car.

Car looks super-it or the same in Silver I hope to order soon. Question: have you had time to determine if the comfort seats are worth the extra bucks? Thanks for info.

Looks good, but the door sill is already pretty wide to step over, I couldn't imagine having to step over these too.

I'm interested in opinions on the comfort seats as well.

That doesn't look any wider than the stock running boards. It just looks like there's a silver piece of trim attached to the top of it. Atleast that's how I'm seeing it. Maybe it is wider....

Just compared it to one of my pics....yup, it looks wider.

The running boards are about 1-2 inches wider than the original running boards so stepping out of the car is a little tricky but getting in the car is no problem. The improved looks offset the slight inconvenience of having to take a wider step getting in and out. Not too many X3's have them additional option so it makes the car stand out.

The comfort seats are great and given the choice I would order them again. On a longer journey they are incredibly comfortable, especially the headrest which is very supportive. The only downside is that they offer little lateral support so they are not suited for hard cornering.

Even wider and my long legs finds it difficult to get out already without the back of the jeans touching the standard "running board".

Looks nice. Can the running boards be installed with sport package?

I believe the running boards are only designed for X3's without the sport package.

The side skirts from the full Aero Body Kit come with a slightly different running boards... may be it can be fitted on to the X3 with the sport package?!
