Not really buddy, but if ur going to change the springs you might aswell swap over the shockers to better suit and adapt the lowered springs. By now the shockers wont be in the best form or shape.

All depends on how low you wanna go..... and how well you want it to ride while it's down there. There is also the question of adjustability as well.

If you are doing the work you could wait until you got in there to see if the shocks and struts are still good. I think you will find that the rebound on the shocks is non-existant and that the struts have a dead spot in the top of them. That's what I found on my 98 when I went in. Now if you are paying a shop to do it, then you almost have to replace them at the same time. No sense paying someone to go in there twice, and if you lower the car on the stock springs and struts I am sure they will not be able to handle it for long...

The lowest recommended on stock shocks is 50mm. I'm just about to lower my sport 35mm front, 30mm rear with an Eibach Pro kit. Theses area about 150 Uk pounds but you can also get Boge with the same lowering for around 90 Uk pounds.

It seems that you're using the search function, which is impressive and I give you compliments on that, but if the search doesn't answer your question, start a new thread. When I see a thread is over 2 years old, I'm tempted to ignore it.
