First post, rather unhappy first post...

Well, today (Friday the 13th) my mother and I took the 3 weeks
old 335i out shopping. Usually I am the one driving, but today my
mother wanted to get used to it, so I let her drove. I am sorry,
but really, asian mom CANNOT drive... sorry ma. It was not a
smooth start from the beginning, she is either stepping on the gas
panel too hard or too soft, she is killing the brake. I never felt
such pain watching this brand new baby getting recklessly driven.

But that's just the prelude, the climax is when she was making a
right turn, I guess, she is still not used to the steering. Anyway,
the rear wheel scratched against the concrete curb... OMG, I felt
a knife slicing through my heart... the damage is done.

:tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk: :tsk:

I guess I will be replacing that wheel, just wondering where can I
find it? I looked on eBay and found this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230114354218&rd=1,1).

I never bought wheels before, so I have no idea where to start
looking. I was also considering changing all 4 wheels, but I bought
the tire insurance... don't know how that is gonna work out. But,
bottomline is I want to get that fixed... I am even considering getting
a pair just in case this ever happens again...

Any suggestion from you guys will be great, I am beyond grateful
for any response! Thanks for your time. Ever since I started driving,
BMW 3 Series is always my dream car. Now it's no longer a dream,
I cannot believe it just got damaged less than a month...

People, stay away from asian moms.
Asian moms, stay away from bmw.

Just to make this perfectly clear, you can buy a single new wheel at the parts department at your BMW dealership. See if Mom will pay... :dunno:

yep, my 335i uses the style 159 wheels, one is chipped at the edge...

sadly, I bought the car myself, and I will highly doubt my mom will pay
even it's her fault. she will just go oh it's just a wheel... the reason I was
asking if I can buy online is just seeing if there's a big price difference.

Yes, try Googling "BMW wheels" and you will find a few internet sellers. You might also try eBay as you can find single wheels there sometime.
