I know I'm fast and a multi-slacker (like all other valuable members of this board :D ), is it technically possible to get rid of the 30 seconds rule ?

It would be nice but if there are a lot of people making multiple posts simultaneously within a short period of time the server can be "flooded" and crash

Oh I'm aware of that. But you still have a copy of the original message so there's no real reason to resend all the additional quotes.

How about we make it the 5 minute rule? There's still too much hairtrigger flaming that goes on around here. Anything to increase the civility level would be welcome.

WOW I just checked. OK The Fest is set the same as Fanatics now. 5 seconds.

I guess i'm just long-winded-- but it seem like almost every time I send a PM, I have to send it in 2 pieces due to the character limit (and i'm not including the original quote in my message). :dunno: Could you make it 2000 characters maybe?
