Warm air from A/C - HELP

Guys

I am going to be taking my 525iSE on a long drive through France & the A/C has decided to only blow warm air.
The compressor seems to be running fine & I cannot find any other probs with the system.
I think that the gas has gone, BUT I don't know the charge levels for the A/C or if the system uses R12 or R134a.

Any ideas would be really helpful - also when refilling, do I fill top or bottom valve?

make sure the center dial between the vents is on the blue not red and your snowflake light is illuminated on your ac control panel.u can convert it but not sure how to do it.fill freon in lower ac hose also called low pressure hose

What year is your car?

To convert a car you will have to replace all the seals, and the oil in the compressor (or the compressor if it is not one that can be converted).
