i have been interested in these for a while. they would not be going on the Z, but our other car. i am wondering if anyone else has any experience with them. I did wish Tire Rack carried them as i have ordered quite a few sets from them over the years, but oh well.

i'm also in the market again for new treads and considering these as well. i currently have the t1-s and have been very happy w/ them. only issue was that a had a lot of trouble getting them to balance w/ roadforce below 10 lbs. mananged only down to the mid teens on 2 of them but it could be just my luck. :tsk:

I just ordered a set of 22" DPE S20's wrapped in these tires. Interested in thoughts about them as well.

I have them on my Stg VI 300zxTT (450RWHP). They seem to do fine and have lasted pretty good so far. They hold the road in corners good and arent all that noisy
I'm in the market for tires as well, from what I gather so far, although the T1R are good tires, they do have weak sidewalls which delay steering response, and are not the best because of that.
I would recommend the Eagle F1 GS-D3, which won the EVO performance tire contest two years ago and recently again in a Car and Driver contest as well.

I switched from T1Rs to F1s about a year ago. Wow, what a difference! Better braking, cornering, wet traction, the works. I'd heard that F1s were noisier but I never noticed it. Unfortunately F1s are hard to come by right now so... BTW this is on a Legacy GT wagon in 215/45-17 sizing.
