Thought It may be usefull to list how to re-engage the drive motors for your roof when you have to disengage them to raise the roof manually.
This is how I do it and I can take no responsiblity from any problems that occur if it does not work,
1: Lower roof manually.
2: Open trunk/boot and expose the drive motors (to the left behind the carpeted sides)
you will also need to ensure the roof storage area is closed so that the trunk/boot will open (you can remove the fuse to by pass this but I just got a friend to hold it down.
3: Pop the motors back in (there are two) you may have to fiddle with them a bit.
4: Close boot/trunk and put key in ignition (dont turn on)
5: Hold roof button to open the roof and switch the key to the first position and keep holding the switch. After about 10 seconds the roof hold cover will pull closed and lock down followed by the windows starting to rise.
Your roof motors have now been re-engaged and reset.
As I say, this is what I have done in the past and it has worked but I can not take responsiblity if any damage occurs as a result of using these procedures.
The first time I had to do this I used the Bentley Manual which is great and you can find links to it through other posts.
I just thought this may be handy to same all the searching.
Best of luck.
