i am haveing trouble every time that i turn on the car and i accelerate i will hear this annoying screatching sound it sounds like it is coming from the engine but i cant figure out whats wrong with it

i did about a month ago u think that it is maby that they r loose??

shouldnt be loose since there is a belt tensioner unless that is bad. Could be a pulley, maybe your power sterring pump going, air conditioner going, list can go on and on. Best bet is to have a buddy in the cabin reving the car some while you are outside of it under the bonnet looking for the noise.
