View Full Version : 318is e36 alarm fuse????

My alarms stopped working on my 1998 4 door e36 and on the fuse box cover it says there is another two fuses for rhd it states its under the glove box (FUSE 47) which happens to be the alarm fuse.Can i find it? no i cant ,can anyone advise me,thanks Pete uk

is this a factory alarm or aftermarket one? Look at the fuse box in the engine bay, alarm module itself and under the glovebox. You may have to take the glove box out to see everything. Also there are some modules nder the drivers side knee panel as well.

if it is a aftermarket one then the fuses will be in different locations then what the BMW Manual says. Most of the time they have a inline fuse jsut inches away from the module. It is also possible that the unit is bad as well. Get a test light and check for power.
