Hi Gary,

I have a question regarding my snows that I purchased from Tirerack for my e46. I've done some searching, but I have found conflicting answers.

I have ASA JH3 rims and 225R17 tires. The tires are like new, as I have only two seasons on them, an I luckily have a 2 mile commute.

My 330's lease is up at the end of the year, and I'm replacing it with an E92 with sport package.

I'd like to use my existing snows on the new car. The tires are not Runflats, but I'm OK living on the edge. However, I see some possible problems:

1) I understand the offset on the E92 is different, will this be a show stopper?

2) If the wheels can be used, can I retrofit them with TPMS?

I'll need more info in order to answer this question. Shoot me an email with your home billing phone number and name, or your Tire Rack order #. I can see if the version of the JH3 that you have will fit the 335i. Some do and some do not. TPMS compatibility shouldn't be a problem either way.

Gary - I will be taking Euro Delivery of a 2007 335 Coupe with sport package in Sept 07, and its redelivery will be in December. Since I live in Southern Ontario, we don't get a lot of snow, but I will need winter tires and wheels to put on its feet when the new baby arrives.

I understand that 19 inch wheels are a no - go, but do you recommend 18s or 17s.

I am looking at Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3Ds, assuming 18s are the way to go. I don't know if run-flats are necessary, but would prefer not to go with run-flats.

If you need any other info, let me know.

Normally we'd minus size to 18" or even 17". Runflats are not required, but some choose to use them.

I should have more information on the upcoming winter tires and wheels for this season around mid to late September.

I'll be shopping for a set of winter tires and wheels soon. Are winter tires available in runflat?

Some were last season, we'll need to wait a bit and see if they will this season. I should know more around mid September.

Gary - will be leaving for Euro Delivery on Sept 23rd, and just checking up on what you recommend as winter setup for 2007 335 coupe with sport package

Packages are up now for this car. Last season many used the ASA JH3, but some newer styles are now available by Rial as well. Most are minus sizing to 17" for better snow capability and a more economical setup. Tire pressure sensors are available as well. If you purchase wheels, tires and sensors at the same time we'll mount them in the wheels and balance the tires before they're shipped out. Bridgestone has a $50 rebate going on the Blizzak line for orders that are in stockand shipping out by Oct 12.
