Hi guys

just posted in the 3 series forum and thought I might be better of here.

I've just picked up a 335i convertible which was what the dealer called his show and tell model.

Liked the car as it was and so he didn't get to do a lot of showing and telling after all. Only drawback is that there's no Ipod adapter and he told me that to install it in thi model was gonna be around $700, which I found pretty steep and decided not to do it for now.

Do any of you have any experience with replacing the radio with a Alpine head unit or the like that allow for Ipod control as well as using the steering wheel control buttons (according to Alpine it works through a cable that can be had somewhere).

Also, I do have the Bluetooth support in my car already and I'm not sure if it would still work with a aftermarked head unit in it.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Krauti
