View Full Version : Putting Quad Exhaust on a 07' 530i????

I recently put on a body kit on my 5 series and had the M5 back bumper installed thinking I cut put quad exhaust on the car. When I took it to my shop the guy told me that on the right side there isnt enough room to fit the muffler. I've seen pictures of numerous 5series that added on the quad exhaust. Anyone do this or have any information???

Do a search--I posted an answer to this a while back. The right (passenger) rear side is where the battery is located on non-M E60s, so there is no room for a muffler there. I've seen E60s with quad exhausts, but the right side were dummies--I believe Eisenmann makes it. See pic below.

RDsport makes a true quad exhaust but it will cost you. There is nothing dummy about this exhaust. If you want to take the less expensive route, you can get a muffler shop to fabricate a custom quad.
I forgot to mention that the RDSport quad is only for 545/550. But, I'm sure that with enough determination anyone can shoehorn the RDsport exhaust into a 525/530.
