Please note an error in the original listing, the vehicle was purchased in Spring of '06 and NOT Spring of '05.

$56K to $51K in one month? That's a sizeable reduction. How much is this car really worth? How easy is it to remove the clearbra without damaging the paint?

There's been a sizable deduction due to the monthly overhead of keeping the auto, it makes more sense to sell it at a reduced cost as opposed to keeping it on the market at a higher cost while it depreciates more and more with each passing month. There are vehicles identical to this one with higher miles going for as much as $58k around the country, therefore I feel as though it's very competitively priced. As for removal of the clearbra, it wouldn't be that difficult due to the fact that it's only been on the car for roughly a year, however I'd recommend that you take it to a professional to have removed rather than taking on the task yourself. If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to e-mail me at will.bruner@iventerprises.com or call me at (202).957.6774. See you around the 'Fest!

Just curious. Why do you want to make payments equivalent to a new car lease when the car is used by assuming the lease? Isn't that like paying a new car price for a used car? The xxx payment is factored into the entire term of the lease. When you lease something that is not new, it shouldn't be xxx, but something less, so assuming a lease is not a good idea.

so assuming a lease is not a good idea.

Lease assumptions often come with a good incentive (cash) or if the buyer made a large down payment the lease assumee (not a real word :) ) would inherit that down payment as lower payments.

There are times when assuming a lease makes sense. That may or may not be the case here.

Don't Buy This Vehicle! This Guy Is A Rip-off-merchant!!!!
He Stole My $500 GOOD-FAITH HOLDING Deposit when I Tried To Re-negotiate The Price!
The Car Is Not Flawless and The Broker Is A Liar!! It Has Scratches On The Front Spoiler (driven Over A Curb Or Other Object), A Scratched Rim And Pebble-dashed Wheel Arches. Most Of The Miles On The Clock (now Around 9000) Are Probably Track Miles! The Guy Will Lie Through His Teeth To Get You To View The Vehicle. He Told Me That It Has A 6 Cd Changer And The Latest Map Dvd - Both Lies! Its A Scam!!!! Don't Waste Your Money On These Criminals! I'm Taking these fraudulent losers to court!

Maybe I missed something...you gave him the $500 to hold it and he held it. If you just got the $500 back after you didn't want to buy it then what's the point in the deposit? If he sold it before you got there and said sorry it's sold here's your $500 back that would be OK too :dunno:?

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience but my experience with this person on the 'fest for the last year or so is quite contrary to that of a "rip off artist".

Perhaps we'll hear from the person that actually bought the car.

Hi James,

The broker had requested a check in the amount of $500 as a sign of good faith to show that I was a serious buyer. He informed me that the check would not be cashed. It was merely an expression of good faith to show him that I'm a serious buyer. It was never agreed that this was a down-payment for the vehicle.

After I inspected the vehicle I did some research and discovered that the vehicle was worth around $2000 less than our agreed price, since the vehicle is in 'good' condition as opposed to the advertised flawless 'excellent' condition. I sent him an email and left a voice-mail asking him to lower the price and it was at this point that he decided the good faith deposit had become a non-refundable earnest money down-payment. He didn't bother to return my calls or emails. He simply took my money and ran. He's completely unprofessional.
